Phoenixville, PA – As we begin each new school year, it is always a pleasure to see our fresh-faced, eager-to-learn students donning our hallways. This year more than ever, it is so exciting to (finally) be back on the RA Campus. Renaissance Academy (RA) always looks forward to reconnecting with our existing RA families, as well as building new relationships with new students and their families.
This year, our RA staff has some new additions including 5th-8th Grade Counselor, Chante Smith, Nurse, Nicole Romano; Instructional Coach, Chuck Keller; HS ELA teacher, Julia Cattani; HS Biology Teacher, Antonio Molina, MS Social Science Teacher, Zachary Wetzel; MS Math Teacher, Anna Moretti; Building Substitute Teacher, Duncan McNabb; Paraprofessional, Melinda Stinson; as well as four new Kindergarten Aides, Stephanie Bucci, DeLisa Portland, Rebecca Poserina, and Lisa Price.The
Special Education Department additions include Shannon Kirk, Special Education Supervisor and Special Education Teachers, Sean Murray and Theresa Auletta.
Also new for the 2021-2022 school year is Kendra Gruber, who joined the staff as K-4th Grade Principal. “I am so grateful to be a part of the Renaissance Academy family. The entire community has been so welcoming and it is an absolute honor to work alongside exceptional educators. Our students are extraordinary and have displayed exceptional resilience. I am so proud of the students and I cannot wait to continue to see them flourish at Renaissance Academy.”

Established in 1999, Renaissance Academy is a K-12, award-winning, tuition-free, college prep charter school located in Phoenixville, PA. The school currently educates over 1060 students from 20 surrounding school districts. Renaissance Academy was named as one of Newsweek’s 2021 Best High Schools in America.
