Sunscreen Use at School
The State of Pennsylvania has passed legislation regarding the use of sunscreen at school. Act 105 of 2018 Sunscreen self-carry and self-apply was signed into law October 24, 2018
- Parents must submit a permission form to the school for a student to self-carry and self-apply sunscreen. This sunscreen must be non-aerosol.
- Students who are unable to self-apply sunscreen must have an order from their primary care provider along with parental permission as with any other prescription or over the counter medication.

Bug Spray Use at School
Aerosol bug spray is not permitted to be used at school. Students are permitted to wear bug repellent bracelets. Please contact school nurse with any questions or concerns.
