From our RA Board of Trustees President

Good Morning, All!

Happy second day of school! I know you may be thinking, "Boy, he must have forgotten about us yesterday." Quite the contrary, I purposely waited until today. I know how the first-day nerves hit all at once and compound that with now being virtual (and maybe having your own children at home), I can only imagine the stress you all felt yesterday. The very last thing you needed was a letter from me going on. I also thought back to the second day of school when I was in the classroom and how even if I still had some nerves, there was definitely a feeling of, "I got this" (especially if you survived the Great Zoom Outage unscathed).

Anyhow, I have seen on social media, heard in conversations, and witnessed first hand, all the incredible work you each put into, not only getting off on the right foot, but also making yesterday a meaningful and unique experience for every one of your students. I am sure there were hiccups and glitches, but I am equally sure that you each took those in stride and barreled through to a positive outcome.

This will get easier and become second nature, just take it one day at a time.

Congratulations; Good Luck; keep fighting the good fight, and don't give up.
