PHOENIXVILLE, PA – During an annual ceremony today, 11th grade Renaissance Academy (RA) students received their Renaissance Academy Charter School class ring. Tracey Behrens O’Brien, RA Academic & College Planning Counselor said that, “this is a wonderful, long-held Renaissance tradition; where juniors take another step toward commencement and their future.”
The 11th grade students were presented their ring by their parents or, in some cases, a favorite teacher stood in to do the honors. Sheyna Land, RA High School English Language Arts Teacher who presented Elizabeth Kerper with her ring said, “It was an honor to be a part of this momentous occasion in Elizabeth’s life.”
Following the ring presentations, the Class of 2020 students and their families were treated to a breakfast buffet, while they began the traditional “turning of their rings” for luck.
