Phoenixville, PA— Renaissance Academy Charter School (RA) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Trustees, as well as list the officers and board members.
Joining the RA Board of Trustees are Elizabeth Falcone, Mark Grenier, and Sujaya Narahari.
Elizabeth Falcone has a degree from Drexel University in Interior Design and is presently employed with Vanguard. She is a passionate professional with experience working in multifaceted positions requiring skills in time management, technology integration, change management, and prioritizing responsibilities.
Native to the area, Elizabeth and her family have been residents of Phoenixville since 2014. Her daughter has attended RA since 2016 and is currently in second grade. Elizabeth is an avid volunteer currently spending time as Co-Leader of RA’s Girl Scout Troop 41441 and her church.
Mark Grenier lives in Norristown where he resides with wife wife and two daughters, both students at the Renaissance Academy. He currently works in the Wissahickon School District’s High School Special Education Department.
In addition to creating, organizing, and supervising the newly-formed RA Board Game Club, Mark is an active volunteer at Renaissance. He can be seen during the Nutcracker productions, helping design the Royal Ball, and at a variety of other events throughout the school year.
Sujaya Narahari is currently employed as a Senior Technical Lead in the IT industry. She resides in Phoenixville with her husband and two children, one currently a Renaissance Academy elementary student and one beginning kindergarten in August 2019.
Sujaya is excited to begin her service on the RA Board of Trustees. While she is cognizant of the range of responsibilities she will have as a board member, Sujaya is particularly enthusiastic about enhancing the sciences at RA. “I would like to help continue working on improving our education program especially focusing on STEM for our young women so we have more female representation in these fields in the years to come.”
The new members were sworn in by fellow board member, RA Alumni, and Magisterial District Judge, Gregory Scott at the RA Board Meeting on February 21, 2019.
We would like to welcome these new Members to the RA Board of Trustees. All three members exemplify the spirit of community and bring expertise, as well as, energy to the group. We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to reach for new heights at the Renaissance Academy Charter School.
