How to Sign Up

1. Please sign and return the last page of this Club RA Parent Letter to the coordinator for Club RA at david.cosme@rak12.org (this needs to be done only one time per year).  
   • Please include the days you anticipate using Club RA Before Care and/or Club RA After Care (i.e., today only, all this week Before Care, every Monday Before and After Care, etc.).
2.  Then send an email to the following people to notify everyone of the change in procedure:

• Your child’s homeroom teacher
• officestaff@rak12.org; and
• david.cosme@rak12.org

Please note, due to planning for staffing needs, updates to Club RA participation must be done by noon on the last school day before the week your child will attend Club RA.

AM Drop Off

Please complete the COVID Screener before dropping off your child.

Please park in the car rider loop when dropping off or picking up your child and walk over to door L-3. L-3 is the door in the Lower School nearest the car loop while on Fairview Street. The door has ramp access instead of stairs.

Press the silver call button. Tell Club RA staff who you are and why you are there. A staff member will check to make sure the COVID Screener has been completed and will come out to take your child’s temperature with a touchless infrared thermometer. Once the child passes the screening they will be allowed into the building.

PM Pick Up/Signing Out

All students must be signed out of Club RA After Care through our visitor management system which requires the parent/guardian’s license. Individuals picking up students will also need documented authorization which is provided by the parent/guardian on the Emergency Contact Form when the student was enrolled at Renaissance Academy. Attempted pickups by relatives or family friends not listed in Emergency Contacts will necessitate phone verification which will delay the sign-out process.

Club RA is held in LGI in the Lower School. Please park in the car rider loop when dropping off or picking up your child and walk over to door L-3. L-3 is the door in the Lower School nearest the car loop while on Fairview Street. The door has ramp access instead of stairs.

Press the silver call button. Tell Club RA staff who you are and why you are there and they will either unlock the door for you or bring your child to you. If entering the building, make your first right, then make your first left to find LGI.

Fee Schedule

Fees are posted to your child’s account in your Parent Portal on Skyward. Fees are due 15 days after they are posted. Payments can be made with a credit or debit card via the Parent Portal. Checks or cash payments may be sent in and directed to Carol Schaeffer, our Business Manager.

*Multiple late pick-ups will make your child ineligible to participate in Club RA.

Behavior

During Club RA, all school behavior expectations and procedures are in effect including the use of PBIS points and referrals.

Students who receive three or more discipline referrals during Club RA in a given school year will not be permitted back to Club RA for that school year.
